No, that's not the quote of the day. Before you ask, it's not the product of an overactive imagination combined with drama-queen style exaggeration either. It's an almost guatranteed fact, if Wikipedia and Google are to be believed.
Ever heard of Skynet? Wikipedia gives it two definitions. The first is an advanced satellite system created by the British Armed Forces. It has the ability to communicate with other computers and controls robotic units at long range. However, it is actually a privately owned system - the British only get a part of the bandwidth.
The other Skynet is a computer created by Cyberdyne Systems for the military in the Terminator movies and TV show. It eventually gains sentience and takes over the world, killing all humans and replacing them with emotionless "Terminator" robot killing machines. While the company that built the real-life Skynet is called Arianespace and not Cyberdyne, the two Skynets are remotely alike.
I believe there are two possibilities. One, the British Army and Arianespace are morons and have just doomed the human race. Two, it's just a coincidence (though the British Army and Arianespace are still morons). Myself, I don't believe there are coincidences.
If the two Skynets are one and the same, then Judgement Day is on April 21, 2011. I suggest preparing to battle machines - and look out for the "Made in the UK" sticker.

So basically, since we have so little time left, any dieting is pointless, right? I'm really good at finding rationalizations for chocolate. :-)
